In the world of glitz and glamour that surrounds Bollywood, there’s often a darker side that doesn’t get as much limelight — the issue of unpaid dues. Recently, a spotlight has been cast on Vashu Bhagnani’s production house, Pooja Entertainment, for allegedly failing to pay several actors and crew members, including big names like Tiger Shroff, Sonakshi Sinha, Alaya F, and Manushi Chhillar, for their work in the film “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.”

“Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,” an action-packed venture that hit the screens this April, unfortunately didn’t fare well at the box office. While the film’s fate was a disappointment, what’s more disheartening is the delay in compensating those who put their time and effort into bringing it to life.

According to reports from Indianexpress.com, the issue isn’t isolated to the film’s stars alone. Crew members across various projects under Pooja Entertainment have also raised concerns about pending payments stretching back as far as two years. This includes everyone from focus pullers to actors, with dues totaling around Rs 2.5 crore.

Sources close to the film have revealed that despite repeated requests and promotions done in good faith, payments have not been forthcoming. This situation has led to frustration among those affected, with Tiger Shroff reportedly joining in the call for immediate settlement of dues for all involved.

When approached for comment, representatives from Pooja Entertainment and Vashu Bhagnani remained silent on the matter, leaving many questions unanswered and the affected parties in limbo.

This isn’t an isolated incident in the industry, unfortunately. Similar stories of non-payment and delayed payments have surfaced in recent years, highlighting systemic issues that need addressing.

It’s important to recognize the hard work and dedication of everyone involved in bringing films to life, from the stars on screen to the crew behind the scenes. Fair and timely compensation isn’t just a matter of legality; it’s a matter of respect and professionalism.

As fans of cinema, we hope for swift resolution for all those affected by these delays.

Bollywood, like any industry, thrives on collaboration and mutual respect. Let’s hope that transparency and fairness prevail, ensuring that such incidents become a thing of the past.

Stay tuned as we continue to follow developments on this issue and advocate for fairness in the entertainment industry.`
